Server update 2022/08/30
Server will be closed for some time to apply and check the update
Tollbooth races
Introducing a new race mode and race type - Tollbooth. Based on Tollbooth races from NFS:MW, they are finally in NFS:SA!
Currently, it sits as a sub-mode of Time-Trials, albeit with its own restrictions. It is a new daily activity like Diamond Hunt - replayable infinitely with no reward until successful completion. After that, you receive the reward and it is playable only after daily server reset. Tollbooth race mode boasts high and unusual rewards! Tollbooth difficulty is based on car score and is specified in seconds per kilometer (average speed). There is also a new 3-level progression task for winning Tollbooth races on Medium or Hard difficulty.
For now, there are only 3 Tollbooth maps available for selection, but it is planned to make more in the future. Please don't make Tollbooth maps as a request without consulting our mapper Tekk first.
Challenge Series changes
We are introducing 4 new challenge sets:
- Set 15 - NFS Underground 1 Set - Unlocks a very rare Classic speedometer, only some old players have it
- Set 19 - Points Challenge Set VI
- Set 20 - For Whom the Booth Tolls - introducing two new challenge types
- Set 21 - Right on Time Set I (Easy-ish set)
- Visual and not only changes to challenges: 1-3; 2-1; 2-3; 3-1; 4-2: 6-2; 9-1; 10-2; 10-3; 18-3; try those, some became much better and some interesting.
- Requirements to play certain challenge sets have been changed (mostly lowered). Please note that it is not a good way to judge set difficulty.

6th Server Anniversary
It was six years ago, on 4th March 2016, when our NFS:SA 2.0 server started!
During Server Anniversary days we would like to give you few bonuses:
- From March 4th to 7th - x2 RP, BP and cash from all races.
- All diamond hunts done on 4th, 5th or 6th March will give you guaranteed jackpot with guaranteed extra reward (drop)! (current progress doesn't matter, it can be even day #1)
- If you join the server on 4-5th March you will receive free premium for 3 days! (you must join server at least once until 23:59 5th)
- Many special URL events with high rewards multiplier (+minimercy)
Due to this special occasion, we decided to organize
the legendary Hunt The Staff event!
The event will start at around 18:00 polish time on Sunday 6th March 2022.
During the event Staff Members will be hidden around the whole SA map and players will have to find them, just like a game of hide and seek!

Happy New Year @everyone from NFSSA Team!!!
We are happy to inform you about some new stuff in this update including Banshee new Tuning Parts, a few sets of Challenge Series, Bug Fixes around the map and some other Fixes and Changes for Challenge Series and the World Map.
Updated server version to 1.5.9.
Fixed a few bugs in some areas of the world map, like invisible objects you could collide into, uneven roads, and holes by our Modeler MatthewChow.
Some changes for the Challenge Series made by our Scripter Orbacle that is :
- Added restart button at the Race ending screen after challenges
- Fixed Circuit Arcade F1 exploit on Challenge Series
- Some changes to Challenge Series

We, NFS:SA team would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
We hope you have a great time with your family and friends during these holidays.
The server is having quite a difficult time with a low player count, but we don't plan on closing, we are working on some great content and ways to bring more players. Thank you for playing and supporting our server. For now, we have numerous thematic changes and bonuses, for these holidays and a major update is coming very soon.

After a very long wait, we are finally bringing out the update!
Syaan has worked hard and is bringing out the largest map expansion NFS:SA has seen so far. And it is called Bikernieki. It is a forested area based on a real-life piece of NE Europe and boasts a full-fledged sports base that features a GT racing track, kart track, rallycross track; infrastructure such as parkings, garages, housing area, high-speed roads, scenic views and much more. The new expansion is connected to mainland San Andreas.
Aside from just being available in freerun, the new expansion will now host a new URL location (third after Bayview Speedway and LSAP) and is called Bikernieki Sports Base!
It also features several new maps (look below in this post), although at the moment many maps are not finished and will be released a bit later.
MatthewChow went out of his retirement and revamped the looks of Bayview Speedway. It now features more details, shadows and scenery. You can change the fidelity of new effects in F11 - Video - Map and Track Settings, however, some details may not appear after changing to a higher preset, so you might need to go to the nearest garage/shop or better, reconnect.
