Dyno update - DXPEZILLV - 08-07-2019 I'm thinking about dyno tunning that could be updated with new tuning feature that would be very useful for races The new options are : Nitro : (-10) Power ----------|---------- Duration (+10) Turbo : (-10) Torque ----------|---------- Horsepower (+10) Advanced drivetrain (-5) Acceleration ---------- Top Speed (+5) Gear 1 : -----|----- Gear 2 : -----|----- Gear 3 : -----|----- Gear 4 : -----|----- Gear 5 : -----|----- Nitro full on power gives you more speed boost , ideal for short tracks like Pasadas Race Nitro full on duration makes your nitrous boost longer than usual , ideal for straight races , drag races and LSAP tracks Turbo full on torque gives you more torque and less horsepower Turbo full on horsepower gives you more horsepower and less torque Advanced drivetrain is another advantage , this makes his ride on player's confortable Like if you want yor car have more acceleration first 2 geare and last 3 gears to gain full speed or viceversa Also , could be a bug fix for cars like Manana , Deluxo , Beamer , etc. I know, there are less , but i think it's a good ideea to be added next update RE: Dyno update - susis - 08-07-2019 doesnt like this exist already? Nitro : (-10) Power ----------|---------- Duration (+10) Turbo : (-10) Torque ----------|---------- Horsepower (+10) Advanced drivetrain (-5) Acceleration ---------- Top Speed (+5) RE: Dyno update - Dr.Wpierdol - 08-07-2019 (08-07-2019, 19:33)susis Wrote: doesnt like this exist already? need more stuff to brake the fuckin balance on the server RE: Dyno update - scaftz - 08-07-2019 Nitro - GTA SA Nitro power is not adjustable. Turbo - Seems like a copy of Advanced DT but gear specific. Not possible. Advanced DT - Possible. Gears - Gear ratios doesn't exists in GTA SA. While the topic is up now please let me add something else to the list. Braking power - Will be very useful if you don't want locking brakes with Pro brakes installed. Brake force in handling file. Weak<-----||----->Strong Damping - Sometimes adjusting suspensions stiffness alone (suspensions force level) doesn't help with the car rebounds when driving over rough surface. Soft<-----||----->Stiff High Speed Damping (or compression damping idk it's named like that) - Not so sure what is this but it's usable to improve driving experience on certain cars such as Bullet and Banshee. On default handling sometimes Bullet jumps again when it do a hard landing giving you a hard time on races. Changing this value to 0 majorly minimalized it but i am afraid it will make stunters butthurt to globally change this. Adjustable would be nice but i am not so sure if it is okay myself. Low<-----||----->High However while some of them are possible to implement i don't feel like they should be worked on yet. It might cause a total whack of game balance. There are more important stuffs the staffs are up to so let them work on that first. RE: Dyno update - susis - 09-07-2019 compression damping i think that is in air suspension and the more compression there is the harder the impact can be reduced atleast that is how i think it works but i need to do research to be sure RE: Dyno update - LeonSkript - 09-07-2019 Quote:Nitro : (-10) Power ----------|---------- Duration (+10) Nitrous tuning isnt possible Turbo tuning probably isn't possible since it'd require a more "accurate" RPM meter Advanced DT isn't possible since GTASA doesn't have gear ratios RE: Dyno update - scaftz - 11-07-2019 Adv DT is actually inertia in GTA SA handling.cfg. However if i am not wrong inertia tuning is already present in game with Drivetrain slider, that makes this one is less necessary to add. RE: Dyno update - Akatoyaa - 12-07-2019 With advanced drivetrain u could set 1 gear in any car and u will be invicible [gear acceleration bug] acceleration in gta sa is based on 2 parameters, acceleraion and top speed, science your acceleration is not dependent on the engine speed, its useles. same thing with Turbo setting, in gta u always get full power/torque it will not work here RE: Dyno update - scaftz - 13-07-2019 Dyno limitations exists duh, that's why we don't have people using sky high car suspensions or 99999 top speed (except Rarti). They won't just allow people to set their inertia to 0 and let them yeet on their pedals accelerating at static pace. And actually there's more parameters that affects acceleration, Drag multiplier, Inertia, Traction, Handling flags and probably more. |
