To keep it as short as possible:
1)Make night darker for all users
2)Replace the default lights textures to cover a bigger area
These suggestions would add great immersion of racing during the night.

Its not possible to make night darker and replacing light textures is not so simple.

1. It's possible but it will only make it harder to see surroundings (you can always just install a timecyc mod).
2. If you mean light coming from street lights and so on then that can be done using a timecyc mod too.
