Custom Car Sounds Update CONCEPT

So this is custom car sounds update concept which will allow to make different sounds for each gear, which will help with doing stuff like on the video - whine sound, kompressor sound and environment sounds (passing etc. buildings at high speed, road and wind sound). Please let me know what do you think about that!

I love sound design and I would be able to create stuff like that with someone, who can do such a thing too.

Increases the environment aspect of the game like changing car sounds in a tunnel and objects like highway intersections above you go wooosh when speeding, would sure love these stuff in-game.

GTA isn't really capable of doing things like that so I doubt it's possible in LUA. Changing car sounds real time, no restart, no reload, seamlessly.. Just a few more million of rows to the script...

I contacted Orbacle about it before, when you asked me like 2 months ago. He said that with scripting certain stuff is possible to implement. But I think it's safe to say that no one's gonna work on this. There's other stuff that's much easier to do, and even in that case no one wants to work on it at all. So I wouldn't expect this one coming at all. Months ago a few guys asked me if I could fix the bugs on sprint/circuit maps (stuff such invisible walls sticking out etc) that existed for years and I agreed. I asked Quindo if I can work on that and he confirmed, but I never actually got a chance to work on fixes for w/e reason. Not even the maps from the event were uploaded later, despite the fixes were made and sent devs way like 3 days after the event. No one just gives a shit anymore. Sometimes when you wanna get something done, you gotta do it yourself, but sadly it's not always possible. I'd say your best bet is making the script yourself if you know how to do it, and then ask Orbacle to check it out.
