More players into the race

For now it's not possible due to technical problems. It'd also cause problems with high RP/cash rewards.
In ug1/ug2 races were 4 players.
We're planning to do something with that but this is for a bit farer future.

Since you said that increasing the number of players in a race would cause problems with high RP/cash rewards, why not slightly increase the rep required to proceed to the next level or get new parts? This will encourage players to play in more races when they see the amount of rep they get is high other than getting like 50-100 and players would enjoy racing with more people other than just 4 because 4 players in a race sometimes feel boring. Having like 8 or 12 players would be nice.

Also, being able to choose the number of players you want to race with option when creating a room.
