I have tried making an easy script with binding my Enter key to any other key that works and it's still not working.

Didn't quite get what you meant with this "script" but just in case you haven't tried, you can try to use SharpKeys. This is a program you can use to universally remap your primary enter key to numpad enter key or any key you rarely use.
