Of course option 2.
Why? Because original sideskirts you showed looks like in option 2. And everyone has own taste so first two sideskirts IMO must looks like in option 2 because other sideskirts looks like in option 1 so then everyone will find what he is looking for.
And also without these parts we can see at pics of option 2 these two sideskirts looks rly very simillar and in that case it doesn't have sense.
EDIT: Of course we can make new sideskirts which will looks very simple like these in option1 and it can be the best option IMO.
