A class car Help

In 2 days i will unlock my first a class car and i want it to be comet but people on nfs:sa are saying that it's a bad car, and i have a question: Could comet with a good dyno be competitive?

With massive dyno and hours of work, any car can be good. My question is: Why do you care wheter it's competitive or not? If you like the car, just buy it. It's better to enjoy the car and sometimes win and lose, than winning in a car you don't like. I have a saying, that goes like this: "I'd rather lose with style than win and look bad".
I hope it was helpful or at least motivating.

I loved driving Comet stock, it's very fast and controlable.
I regret a lot having it tuned, though, because it's so freaking fast I literally can't control it anymore...
I hated Banshee in every form.
So far, stock Comet is what I liked the most.

Comet is decent, just don't buy weight reduction in it.

In a class are only 2 cars comet and turismo. Turismo is little better. Infernus, cheetach, bullet, banshee, count# are from cheat class
