Tuning Meet-Up


We would like to announce, that there will be a big tuning meet-up next week on Saturday (29th of July - 7pm (UTC+1)).
Organized by Nexoon and myself. It will contain a contest of the best looking cars on the event and drifting at the end.

We are meeting in the Foster Valley on a big parking below San Fierro (Check pictures below to see where it's located at).



- Meeting at Foster Valley parking
- Starting contest about best looking car
- Driving together to Mulholland Intersection parking
- Drifting at destination in Los Santos
- Revealing the winners of the contest (giving prizes)

We line up on the parking lot and chill for 15-30 minutes to wait for more players.
Nexoon and I will pick 15 of the best looking cars. (Staff can't participate)
We will post a link of a poll in the chat, with all 15 players on it.
You have to open the link and vote for the best looking car in your opinion.
The poll will last until the whole event is over after the drifting in Los Santos.
In LS we will hang out and drift under the highway on the parking lot.
After 30 Minutes of drifting we will name the winners and give them the prizes.

The prizes are:
  • 7 days of premium for the first place,
  • 5 days of premium for the second place,
  • 3 days of premium for the third place.

Important! - Tips to get more FPS during the meet-up
You will have probably low FPS because of many cars being at the same place.
Please note that low fps will affect your handling. It makes your suspension super hard and you will bounce all the time and can't stand still.

Here are some tips to get higher FPS:
- In MTA, open ESC -> Settings -> Video
-- Turn off Antialiasing, set FX-Quality to very low, and disable every option at the bottom of the window.
-- Last step after you tried everything: lower your resolution.
-- Another solution is to go to Advanced tab and change the debug setting to "#6734 Graphics" Note: You wont see paints or vinyls on any car with that option

- While on the server, press F11 (or click Settings in garage)
-- In Video tab: Disable all shaders, turn off blur, pull down your far clip distance to around 30-40, same for LOD distance, turn off advanced nitro effects.
--- enable "Force aggressive memory cleaning" in the advanced settings, so you won't run out of memory (ram) that quickly.
-- In Gameplay tab: Disable Driver name and Crew Logo, turn off radar and speedometer.
-- In Audio tab: -> Car sounds settings -> disable "Hear other cars (3D Sound)"

You can also get a few FPS if you turn off the Hud with F1 and turn your camera away from the crowd (so you don't see all cars on your screen).
Might be useful to get into a position on the parking.

FAQ - (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Can I change my car during the event?
- Only if you are not in the poll (if you didn't got selected into the top 15)

Q: What if I get rammed all the time while parking or drifting?
- Nexoon and I will take care of the rammers. And we hope that some other staff members will also join to help us.

Q: Which punishments will a rammer get?
- Starting from getting forced back to their garage, getting kicked or up to temporarily banned if he continues after the first punishments.

Q: How will I get the prize if I win?
- You will get it via PM from me. It's a code that you will have to enter with "/premiumcode CODEHERE" ingame. Make sure you don't write the code into the chat so no one can see it! Better use the Console (F8) and type "premiumcode CODEHERE" without the / - if you lose your code or show it public and someone else uses it, it's your own fault and we won't give you a new one.

Q: What if someone else uses my nickname when I win?
- We will check if it's you and punish the fakers with a temporarily ban because of trying to steal a reward.

Q: How can drifting in Freerun be that fun without drift handlings?
- Since the last update you can change your cars handling in Freerun to it's drift handling by holding RMB and clicking the dot.
